2. Flat 12-Volt Auxiliary Batteries

Many drivers assume that having a massive high-voltage lithium battery pack means they never have to worry about a flat battery again. In reality, modern EVs still rely on a standard 12-volt auxiliary battery to power critical electronics, including central locking, dashboard displays, alarm systems, and onboard safety computers.

If this traditional 12V unit degrades, your car will refuse to start or unlock, even if the primary drive battery is at 100% capacity.
